Reminder: Friday is registration deadline for WVU Medicine Take Your Child to Work Day

WVU Medicine will, once again, be participating in the annual Take Your Child to Work Day event on Thursday, April 26.

The event is open to children (ages 6-12) of WVUH and UHA employees only, and will be held at the Erickson Alumni Center from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Speakers from various WVU Medicine departments will serve as role models to the children, speaking with them about different careers and encouraging them to reach their full potential.

Registration forms are now being accepted and must be filled out in order for a child to participate. The deadline to register is Friday, March 16.

Parents who register their children may drop them off from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and pick them up between 12-12:30 p.m. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the Erickson Alumni Center.

Children may return to work with their parent for the remainder of the day if the parent has approval from their director.

It is each parent’s responsibility to ensure that all required forms from their child’s school are completed.
