WVU Cancer Institute welcomes Joanna Kolodney, MD

Joanna Kolodney, MD, has joined WVU’s Department of Medicine and Cancer Institute. Dr. Kolodney practiced hematology/oncology at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem, VA, and was an assistant professor at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA.  She will see patients diagnosed with GI cancers, melanoma, and Neuro-oncology.

Her husband, Michael Kolodney, MD, PhD, recently joined WVU Medicine Dermatology as the section’s new chief.
