Miracle Treat Day to benefit WVU Medicine Children’s

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Dairy Queen® locations in West Virginia and eastern Ohio will come together on Thursday, July 25, to raise funds for WVU Medicine Children’s.

Miracle Treat DayOn Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at participating locations, including 47 in West Virginia and 13 in eastern Ohio, will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals®, which raises funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. WVU Medicine Children’s is the only CMN Hospital in West Virginia.

Donations collected on Miracle Treat Day will allow WVU Medicine Children’s to fund groundbreaking research, launch new clinical programs, recruit world-renowned physicians, provide state-of-the-art technology and equipment, offer child-friendly programs, and treat every child and family that turns to it for hope and healing. Last year’s Miracle Treat Day raised nearly $40,000 for WVU Medicine Children’s.

Since 1984, the Dairy Queen system has raised more than $130 million for CMN Hospitals through fundraising efforts, including Miracle Treat Day, the Miracle Balloon campaign, and other local initiatives.

To help celebrate Miracle Treat Day, fans are encouraged to use #MiracleTreatDay on social media and invite others to join them in visiting a participating DQ location.
