WVU School of Medicine Grand Rounds to feature update on West Virginia's infectious diseases

On Friday, Aug. 23 from 8 to 9 a.m. Robin Avery, M.D., FIDSA, FAST from the Division of Infectious Disease from John Hopkins University will speak to faculty, residents, nurses, practicing clinicians and students about common chronic diseases found in the population of West Virginia. At the lecture in the Fukishima Auditorium on the Health Sciences campus, Avery will also discuss best treatment practices and how to collaboratively provide the best patient care across multiple departments.

Physicians can claim the lecture for continuing medical education credit and West Virginia University School of Nursing Students can claim the course for contact hours.
