WVU Cancer Institute Clinicians Present at Mountains of Hope Membership Meeting

Mountains of Hope (MOH), West Virginia’s Cancer Coalition, held its fall membership meeting on November 6, 2019 in Flatwoods, WV. Three WVUCI clinicians presented on cutting edge treatment and clinical research available at the WVUCI:  Dr. Brian Boone, Dr. Hannah Hazard-Jenkins, and Dr. Geraldine Jacobson.

MOH meetings are open to all West Virginians interested in lessening the burden of cancer in the mountain state. Representing hundreds of cancer control professionals and advocates from around the state, MOH works in three areas of cancer:  prevention, early detection, and quality of life. These priority areas align with MOH’s statewide WV Cancer Plan.
